Siphon Dripper Brew Guide

Brewing coffee using a Siphon Dripper is a fun and unique way to make a delicious cup of coffee at home. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use a Siphon Dripper:

  1. Start by heating your water to around 200 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the ideal temperature for brewing coffee.

  2. While the water is heating, grind your coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency.

  3. Place the coffee grounds in the bottom chamber of the Siphon Dripper and tamp them down gently.

  4. Once the water is ready, carefully pour it into the bottom chamber of the Siphon Dripper, making sure to wet all of the coffee grounds evenly.

  5. Put the lid on the Siphon Dripper and let the coffee brew for about 3-4 minutes. This will extract the maximum flavor from the beans.

  6. Once the brewing time is up, turn off the heat and let the Siphon Dripper cool for a minute or two.

  7. Slowly and gently pull the upper chamber away from the bottom chamber, taking care not to disturb the coffee grounds.

  8. Pour the brewed coffee into a mug and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Experiment with the grind size and brewing time to find the combination that works best for you and your beans.

  • If you like a stronger cup of coffee, use more coffee grounds. If you prefer a weaker brew, use less.

  • Don't leave the coffee in the Siphon Dripper for too long after brewing, as it can start to taste bitter.

  • If you're using a Siphon Dripper for the first time, it's a good idea to do a test run with just water to get a feel for the process.

Happy brewing!
