Hario Mizudashi Brew guide

Step 1

Grind coffee to a medium - coarse level (finer for a light roast, coarser for a dark roast)

For lighter roasts, it should be finer than the coarseness used for a French press, but more coarse than what is used for drip coffee.

Step 2

Place a filter in the basket, and pour in the grounds.

Step 3

Completely saturate the grounds with 1,150 to 1,200 ml of filtered water. Use circular motions to ensure all grounds are saturated.

Step 4

Cover your brewer and place in the refrigerator. This will result in a crisp brew.

Step 5

After 18-20 hours, open the brewer, remove the filter, and store in the refrigerator.
