Step 1

Attach the filter by pulling down the chain and attaching the clip to the bottom of the funnel

Step 2

Add water to the bottom chamber

Step 3

Heat the water by putting the bottom chamber on top of the heat source. Turn the source to maximum. Place the funnel loosely in the chamber. It shouldn’t be completely attached.

Step 4

Measure and grind your coffee. Grind to a course setting similar to what you would Duse for a Chemex.

Step 5

Attach the funnel to the base once the water starts to boil. Be sure they’re put together tightly.

Step 6

Add your coffee to the water once the top chamber is filled.There will be little left in the bottom chamber. Stir with a spoon or bamboo stick and start your timer.

Step 7

At 45 seconds, give the grounds a good stir. Turn off the heat just before the timer reaches 1 and a half minutes.

Step 8

Now that the heat is off, the coffee will draw back to the bottom. This should take close to 1 minute, making the total brew time 2:30.

Step 9

Carefully place the funnel back in the black base and remove the globe from the top of the heat source. Serve your coffee from the globe and enjoy!
